Collagen Induction Therapy / MicroNeedling
Improve skin texture, lines, wrinkles and scarring from stretch marks, acne or surgery
Collagen induction therapy boosts collagen production for firmer, healthier looking skin. It can also reduce the appearance of all types of scars and imperfections.
My appointment was in the weekend and it was not a problem. Look forward to seeing you both next time.
Microneedling is also known as collagen induction therapy and is used for facial rejuvenation. It can minimise the appearance of fine lines, pore size, scarring and improve skin tone and texture. Collagen Induction Therapy can rejuvenate and even skin texture, helping reduce fine lines. It can reduce scarring (e.g. acne, chickenpox or old surgical scars) and stretch marks (pregnancy or weight changes). It can soften pigmented areas and reduce redness form underlying fine blood vessels.
It is a minimally invasive technique using needle technology together with the skin’s natural repair system to rejuvenate, lift and tighten the skin.
For best results and reduced complications, we recommend having an initial consultation beforehand (on your skin quality) and prepare skin 4-6 weeks before treatment. We’ll show you how.
Dermapen collagen induction therapy is next level microneedling! Not all microneedling is collagen induction therapy. As a medical clinic, as opposed to a beauty spa, we can needle deeper for a wider range of conditions.
Collagen Induction Therapy uses precise fine needles to stimulate production of your own natural collagen. Targeted use of medical grade stainless steel needles instigates regeneration of skin cells via a natural process of healing. It also allows topical nutrients to be more readily absorbed into the skin, encouraging production of collagen and elastin.
Treatment takes around 30 minutes. Topical anaesthetic is applied prior to treatment, if required, and Collagen Induction Therapy pen is applied to the treatment area. Most patients experience temporary redness or swelling lasting a few hours.
We offer a range of appointment times to suit your needs, including evenings and weekends.
