Certain areas (such as lips in our younger patients), we can charge per ml. Other areas are more dependent upon the product/ skill and difficulty involved. Different areas need different products.
The Emotional Attributes of the MD Codes are a set of eight emotions that Dr. Di Maio believes reflect what most of us feel as we become witness to the depressing signs of ageing on our faces.
They are divided into two groups.
The Negative Emotional Attributes, which are wanting to look:
The Positive Emotional Attributes, which are wanting to look:
These 8 Emotional Attributes are essentially a new tool to help us at OPA, better understand our patient’s feelings and desires that go beyond the wish for correction of a specific fold or wrinkle. They open up a completely different conversation. By integrating the 8 Emotional Attributes as an added step during the initial cosmetic visit, we can unveil the underlying motivations and feelings that bring you to On Point Aesthetics.
The longer you delay having cosmetic medicine procedures, the harder things are to correct/ improve and the more skill and product is needed. What you’re worried about now will likely get worse and be more expensive to reverse the older you get. If you don’t do anything today, you may well need more tomorrow.
If you start dermal fillers at the right age ( literature suggest/ recommend mid 30s) - your face is in a better state to start with when you come to us (less effects of aging, gravity), you’re more likely to prevent the development of worsening lines, need less work and investment overall and the results tend to last longer.
Compared to a surgical facelift, a non-surgical facelift (with filler rather than a scalpel) is a fraction of the cost, a much quicker procedure, no down time, no scars, much lower complications and most importantly, fully reversible.
Filler treatment is ideally done in 3 stages: firstly the Foundation of the face - cheeks (this corrects loss of volume/sagginess) then contours - temple, jawline and chin and lastly Refinement - lips and around eyes/ tear troughs.
Proportions and your face being in harmony are important. You have several profiles - front, oblique/ /45 degree and lateral (from the side). We aim to get all of them looking natural, right and in proportion. We want you looking good, not weird, natural not freaky.
Skin quality is also vital in producing the best results for you, whether that be through microneedling, PRP or cosmeceuticals - (the soon to be available) Aspect Dr range of skin treatments.
You’re investing in good results and your quality of life/ confidence and self-esteem. Everyday we try to get better for you.
Our aim is to get to know you and especially your face better than anyone and give you the most natural results for you. We don’t want people to know you’ve had work done!
We will always work within your budget. We are interested in the best outcome for you, delivered in a safe, professional environment. We are interested in taking you on a journey and getting to know your face better than anyone else.
Word of mouth is always the best recommendation. Are the staff appropriately trained and undergoing continuing medical education?
At OPA, we believe you can’t have high quality, safe work done quickly. We believe you get what you pay for. We take our time to get to know you. You won’t feel you’re on a production line
We believe that to treat tear troughs properly (for natural, longer lasting results), you need to provide support indirectly from the cheeks and temples before you have direct treatment to the tear troughs? The less we inject filler in the more risky, vascular areas (such as tear troughs), the safer this procedure is.
Yes - the forehead, frown area and the nose. They are very vascular (full of blood vessels) and the risk of major complications such as blindness and skin necrosis (skin death) is much increased.
We are a NZ family owned & run boutique clinic & we aim to offer the highest standards of quality, efficiency & discretion. It is our approach to take the time to get to know you, your medical history, your requirements & work out a plan together.
